That’s Right
Apparently, the polar bear has been designated as an endangered species. Go Bowdoin (I realize that these things are only related in a most superficial way). Details:
“America’s interior secretary designated the polar bear a threatened species because of the reduction in Arctic sea ice, its primary habitat. The decision might also hamper oil drilling in the Arctic.”
So, there we have it. In other news, I have more reading than one could imagine and such short time to do it—plus, Jeff arrives tomorrow and it should be just complete chaos and loveliness. I think that he leaves pretty soon. Well, until tomorrow night at midnight at the Piazza Maggiore—very mysterious.
And there is just a ton of media and things from the Festa dei Ceri. It was quite the medieval tradition. Everything went well and we’re safely back in Bologna. Good good.
