Exam Over: Risultato, 27.
I’ve heard that Italians are much more open about talking about grades that they have received. I don’t know if that’s true, but it’s worth mentioning anyway. I got a 27 out of a maximum 30 e lode, which is not bad but also not the best. This exam went much better than the first, but the first one was described as a “piccolo disastro,” by my professor. Well, so be it. But this one, much better, and now it’s off to Gubbio. Franco and Ledesma Ramos are entertaining, but not that entertaining.
And, in my anxiousness to take the exam and my excitement after finishing the exam, I forgot to return the books that I have checked out and that are due. Just horrible. So, now, I am off to do that and get something to eat. Hopefully. In the meantime, I’ll be in Gubbio.
Talked to Jeff last night and he is actually arriving the Sunday night, which makes returning on Saturday afternoon no problem at all. Can’t believe that he’s going to be here so soon. Just insane. And then my literature exam on the 21st. After that, I’ll feel much better about life. Much better. Oh can’t wait.
